Dear Natick and Wayland Voters:
I respectfully ask for your vote in the Democratic primary election on September 3, and the State election on November 5.
I have devoted my career to our community, our Commonwealth and our nation. I have been focused on serving you to the best of my ability – one person, one family, one issue at a time. I am proud of all that I have accomplished and look forward to continuing that work.
America is at a crossroads. Our democracy and our values are more threatened than ever. The stakes are high in our elections. Because of what is happening at the Federal level and at the Supreme Court, the role of the state legislature has never been more important. Many critical issues are the responsibility of the state legislature: reproductive choice, climate change, housing, gun safety and equal rights. I have been a state and national leader on these issues for many years. I am well prepared for these challenges, and I have the experience, knowledge and expertise to lead at this difficult time.
As you may know, I have lived in Natick my entire life. I went to Natick schools and raised my own sons here. After college and law school I served the Commonwealth for 14 years as an Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County. Since then, I have been proud to be elected as a State Representative for the past 25 years.
For 25 years, I have carefully listened to the people of our community, and have been a leader on Beacon Hill on many issues. I have delivered for the 5th Middlesex District: the new Natick High School, Kennedy and Wilson Middle Schools, the Community-Senior Center, and countless other projects all have my imprint. I have increased state aid and grants to the District to record levels, many times over, saving local taxpayers millions of dollars every year. I have worked every day to make this community the best in the State, if not the country. Most importantly, I have assisted literally thousands of families with constituent issues and concerns, ranging from health care, to education, to social services to veteran’s benefits. I am proud of my record and I stand by everything I have done.
I am proud of these accomplishments - but I know there is more to do: we have to meet the challenges of keeping this community affordable, to continue to deliver world-class public education and health care, and to keep the economy growing. I’m excited to keep working on these issues and I respectfully ask for your continued support and your vote in the Democratic Primary on September 3 and in the General Election on November 5.

Sincerely,
David P. Linsky

"The moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped."
